BuzzerBlog: UK's Challenge Picks Up "That's The Question"

Hi Alex,
While I enjoyed That's the Question on GSN, I have to disagree with you here. Chain Reaction is an entertaining show. The gameplay is engaging and friendly to a wide audience. As each letter is revealed, suspense builds as we await the contestant's response. My main criticism of that show is that the bonus round has no relation to the main game. That, and the contestants often seem ill-prepared to play the bonus round.
That's the Question had a slow pace and had a slew of weak contestants. I had thought the combination of trivia questions, anagrams, and hangman -- sort of a Jeopardy! and Wheel melange -- would be engaging. It wasn't. If I had to point to a problem, I'd say it was the scoring system. It was difficult to follow and to figure out whether you, the viewer at home, would have done. But the whole thing felt clunky.

How come Bob Goen is in one of the new "Get in the Game" GSN idents? Will "That's the Question" come back, or is he going to host another show on the network?

TTQ had 20 shows. Why they did not have 65?

TTQ didn't catch on. It wasn't as popular as Lingo. The original Lingo was 20 years ago. It would be nice to see Michael Regan make a cameo in the GSN version of Lingo to celebrate 20 years of Lingo.

Personally, I think Micheal Reagan doesn't like talking about Lingo considering the unpleasantness that resulted in his leaving. So, he probably wouldn't make an appearance.
TTQ has got some bug to work out. but it's not definite yet whether or not it will come back. Maybe Bob's in consideration to host Camouflage.
